It bothers me that men who claim to be LDS believe that women shouldn't get a say in finances or the size of the house because...
...She isn't working.
It seems wrong that motherhood isn't unanimously the most revered and important role/job on the planet...
...instead it is seen as a cop-out or the easy road.
It just irritates and infuriates me beyond words and I'm not a mother yet. I feel like women shouldn't feel like they have to prove anything or explain themselves if they choose motherhood over the corporate latter. A woman shouldn't have to be the perfect maid, cook, and mother to prove her worth.
I wish I had a cure for ignorance or a skin thick enough to ensure others opinions didn't get to me.
I wish I could write the words that would change the world's perception.
