Not a fan

I've decided: I'm not a fan of flying. I don't like confined spaces, my ears popping (or not popping), stupid small cups of soda, screaming babies, and obnoxious flight attendants. I've got to get over it though, because my bucket list of travel destinations demands it.

Maybe its not fun right now because poor Chris is crispy from our beach trip yesterday (I wish I could post pictures so you could see how burnt he is, but I promised I wouldn't) and I have this mysterious sinus pressure/headache thing....we're both quite irritable. We won't be to Utah until 11:35pm; we're still on North Carolina time, so it will feel like 1:35pm.

I do like how Chris always (without fail) holds my hand while were taking off and landing; the worst part of flying. I also like how the Starbucks guy who made our smoothies told us to keep our love alive. It makes me happy when people recognize that were in love.

I worked out on vacation! I was doing so well....until I left one of my running shoes at Grandma Brock's house. Luckily, we were able to retrieve it on our way to the air port, but I have missed out on two straight days of exercise and I feel like a fatty. I ran 4.5 miles in 90% humidity on Saturday. I did ok...until I sweat so much that I got a healthy dose of sunscreen/sweat in my eye. That sucked.

Its been a good trip. I'm excited to see Rachel get married on Friday and I am so honored that she invited Chris and I to be at the sealing.

This post was pretty random, did anyone keep up?

Today is our one year anniversary. My how time flies.

I can say with complete certainty that I love this man more today than I did one year ago. He has taken the role of husband by storm and has made me the happiest girl alive. 

 

I can't help but be a little nostalgic...wishing I could relive our wedding day over again; holding his hands over the altar as we were sealed for eternity, being surrounded by all of our family and friends, our first dance, ....I could go on and on. 

Since we've been married, we've had a lot of great days and some not so good ones...but the beauty is, we've overcome everything that has come our way in the last year and we are stronger because of it. I am so excited to experience the things year 2 has in store for us!

I love my mini makeup bag. It keeps all of my essentials in one place, so I don't have bobby pins floating around or lip gloss making everything sticky (-in case you're interested in products here's a short description from left to right).

-Colgate "Wisp": mini toothbrushes and toothpaste...just add water! Great for date night!

I have an office product addiction. I like to have different pens; thick, thin, gel....Fun fact, the silver pen on the far right is from our suite where we spent the first for days of our honeymoon. Anyway, I also have sticky notes to leave notes for myself in my car (or other people on their windshields when they park poorly...jk, that only happened once). My notepad usually houses blog post ideas. 

Category #3: Devices

 You never know when you'll need headphones or a cord to sync your phone/iPod. 

Category #4: Coupons

I house all my coupons here, cut neatly and organized by store/establishment. I love a good deal!

Category #5: Misc.

Sunglasses. Keys. Ibuprofen.
