Genius.
You know when you wear flats or heels they kind of get stinky? Especially when you wear them for an extended period of time? Dryer sheets will solve all your problems.

I love my red dress
I scored this little beauty on a shopping trip with my hubby last weekend. I love it. Its so versatile; I can wear it with heels or flats or sandals, with a sweater or by itself, with or without jewelry...And its comfy... And, I feel like a million bucks in it.
That is all.

DIY Blackhead Removal
Blackheads. Ugh.
They never go away, and if they do they always come back.
Yesterday I was on a mission to find an at-home, organic way to clean the blackheads off. I've tried the Biore strips, the scrubs, all of it- and the result is usually red, irritated skin....which usually just makes the situation worse.
Pinterest came to my rescue. I found this awesome site with 5 natural ways to clean the blackheads out, instead of ripping/scrubbing the crap out of my skin. The big secret: lemon juice & sugar. Mixed together and gently rubbed all over your face for 3-5 minutes...as often as you want.
Genius.
Go ahead, give it a try.

Apples & Curls
Today has been a good day. I am exhausted, but content.
My mom and Dad ordered Chris and I this amazing fruit from Harry & David. Pretty much the best apples and pears I've ever tasted. The apples look fresh out of Snow White; irrestistable. Also, this comes to mind...
It WAS good...and not poison. Whew.
So, today I wore my hair curly & I've had mixed opinions of it myself all day. So, I was wondering what you think? Too poodle-esque? Too young looking? I don't know. Curly hair is a blessing and a curse. It can either make your life easy or complicated (as you battle for 45 minutes to an hour with a flat iron).
The weekend is almost here! Make it count!

New Hobby: Hairstyle Tutorials
So, I've been watching hairstyle tutorials like a mad woman. I really like it. I found this really great blog with a ton of them. Check it.
Anyway, I decided to be ambitious today and try this one:
Super cute & great with "second day hair"- a perk to having thick, curly hair is when you straighten/curl it you can skip a wash or two. My results weren't quite as good as hers...but I am happy.
Its hard to take a picture of the back of your head on your own.

Hairy Scary
So...I recently got a hair cut and ended up loosing a lot more than I initially wanted (I guess that's what I get for using a free haircut coupon at a hair school....no offense hair school students). But its slowly growing on me- It definitely takes less time to do and a lot less effort. I actually did my hair today for the first time in awhile....and I even shaved my legs (the legit kind...with shaving cream and everything- I even got the backs). Don't judge! Its so cold here, its hardly worth the effort. You go outside and it all grows back within a matter of seconds. Anyway- I'm off to the temple with Chris and then we're packing for Utah! T-minus 18 hours till we're driving out of Rexburg!
