THINGS ALL HUMANS SHOULD KNOW

#1. Don't talk on your cell phone inside public bathroom stalls. Its awkward for the people around you, and I'm pretty sure its awkward for the person you're talking to. Unless you're dying right then and there, I'm sure it can wait until you're finished.

Cats in the Dumpster

So, there are a few cats who live in and around the dumpsters at Stonebrook. Sometimes, they dart out in front of your car when your pulling in and they scare you. Also, I'm pretty sure I accidentally dumped some garbage on one of them.
Sorry. :(
Last night, I woke up in a complete panic. I had had a nightmare that the garbage trucks came and took the kitties away with the garbage.
But no worries, I saw one of them dart in front of my car on my way home from work this morning. They are fine.

Hairy Scary

So...I recently got a hair cut and ended up loosing a lot more than I initially wanted (I guess that's what I get for using a free haircut coupon at a hair school....no offense hair school students).  But its slowly growing on me- It definitely takes less time to do and a lot less effort.  I actually did my hair today for the first time in awhile....and I even shaved my legs (the legit kind...with shaving cream and everything- I even got the backs). Don't judge! Its so cold here, its hardly worth the effort. You go outside and it all grows back within a matter of seconds. Anyway- I'm off to the temple with Chris and then we're packing for Utah! T-minus 18 hours till we're driving out of Rexburg!

Word to the Wiser Than Me

So, as you know I've been working towards a goal of being healthier. The thing is, right before I made this goal, my darling husband filled our refrigerator with my favorite frozen pizza's (they were on sale for $1 each). I avoided them (for the most part) for a couple of weeks, but I eventually broke down one afternoon and decided to have one for lunch. I looked at the nutrition facts and saw that there were only 370 calories, and 180 fat calories. In my opinion, I thought that was pretty good for a whole pizza. So I ate one, and enjoyed it. I continued to eat one for lunch about every other day.
Last night, I was telling Chris about my discovery and about how happy I was to have something "good" to eat that wasn't killing my calorie count. "There's no way," he said and opened the freezer and took out one to read the back. "There's 370 calories per serving," he said "There are 2 servings in this one pizza."
My heart sank. My lunch time indulgence was too good to be true.
Read the label thoroughly before you get too excited. Like my mother always said, "If it's too good to be true, it usually is."

[Awkward]

Today I got a small peek into dating life in Rexburg. Although it was entertaining, it made me very relieved and grateful to have my dating days behind me.
Chris and I were out to eat and I was getting some dipping sauce and I overheard the following conversation:

Guy: "Hey, sorry....but you look really familiar. Where are you from?"
Girl: "Nebraska....?"
Guy: "Huh, we'll I've never been there. (Long, dramatic pause) I guess we must've known each other in the Preexistence."
Girl: "...."

I wasn't sure if I should gag or laugh really hard....holding both in, I coughed a little and walked away.
Really? Did the poor guy really think that was going to work? Or was he being serious. I'm honestly not quite sure. I hope she let him down easy though. I wish him luck in all his future dating endeavors.
